Preserving 40+ years of culinary heritage, one recipe at a time
My grandmother has 40+ handwritten recipe notebooks from her mother. The pages are yellowing, the ink is fading, and some recipes are barely readable. She can't use smartphones well, but these recipes represent generations of family traditions.
I created a simple platform to photograph recipes, add voice notes of grandma explaining the secret tips, and make everything searchable. Now 42 recipes are preserved with 18 voice recordings, shared with 12 family members across 3 countries.
