Our ACT Enhanced score calculator is a free, accurate tool designed for the new ACT Enhanced format introduced in 2025. This ACT Enhanced score predictor uses official ACT Enhanced scoring tables to provide accurate score estimations.
The ACT Enhanced format features updated question counts: English (50 questions), Math (45 questions), Reading (36 questions), and Science (40 questions). Simply enter the number of correct answers for each section, and instantly see your predicted ACT Enhanced section scores, composite score, and STEM score.
Important: The composite score is calculated from English, Math, and Reading only. Science does NOT affect the composite score - it only contributes to the STEM Score, which is a new metric that averages your Math and Science section scores, providing insight into your performance in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields.
The ACT Enhanced is scored on a scale of 1 to 36 for each section:
Your composite score is the average of your English, Math, and Reading section scores only. Science does NOT affect the composite score - it only contributes to the STEM score. The composite is rounded to the nearest whole number and is the score that colleges typically consider.
Example:
If you score 28 in English, 30 in Math, 26 in Reading, and 27 in Science, your composite score would be (28 + 30 + 26) ÷ 3 = 28, which rounds to 28. Note that Science (27) is not included in the composite calculation.
The STEM Score is a new metric in ACT Enhanced that averages your Math and Science section scores. This score is particularly useful for students interested in STEM fields.
Example:
If you score 30 in Math and 28 in Science, your STEM score would be (30 + 28) ÷ 2 = 29.
ACT Enhanced uses a conversion table to convert your raw score (number of correct answers) to a scaled score (1-36). The conversion varies slightly between different test forms to ensure fairness across test dates.
